The phrases that flow today
When something makes you happy, you say, "I like coffee. I like music. I like you!" When you wish for it now, you say, "I want a coffee. I want water." Mia loves coffee. Every morning she says, "I want a coffee!" She likes it hot. Tom is different — Tom likes tea. He says, "I don't like coffee. I like tea." And when you ask a friend, you say, "Do you want a coffee?" The answer? "Yes, please!" Now you. What do you like? What do you want, right now? Say it out loud.
Your key phrases
- I like… — it makes you happy. I like music.
- I don't like… — it does not make you happy. I don't like the rain.
- I want… — you wish for it now. I want a coffee.
- Do you like…? — you ask a friend. Do you like tea?
- Do you want…? — an offer to a friend. Do you want water?
- Yes, please / Thank you — warm, polite words. Yes, please! Thank you!

The story
Mia loves coffee. Every morning: "I want a coffee!" Hot, strong, happy. Tom is different — Tom likes tea. This morning, Mia walks to the café, and — oh no! "No coffee today." Her face falls. But Tom smiles and lifts his cup: "Do you want my tea?" Mia tries it. Sip. "Mmm… I like it!" A new favorite. Big smile.
Mini-story — listen and answer
Big smile! Sit up, breathe deeply. Ready? Answer out loud — your turn!
Q. This is Mia. Mia likes coffee. Does Mia like coffee? A. Yes! Mia likes coffee.
Q. Does she like coffee, or tea? A. Coffee! Mia likes coffee.
Q. Tom is different. Does Tom like coffee, or tea? A. Tea! Tom likes tea.
Q. Now the problem — the café has no coffee today! Is there a problem? A. Yes! There's no coffee.
Q. Then Tom smiles: "Do you want my tea?" Does Mia try the tea? A. Yes! Mia tries the tea.
Q. "Mmm, I like it!" Is Mia sad now, or happy? A. Happy! Now Mia likes tea too.
The same moment — now and before
Now: Mia likes coffee. Every morning she wants a coffee. Tom is different — Tom likes tea. But oh no — today the café has no coffee! Then Tom smiles and says, "Do you want my tea?" Mia tries the tea. "Mmm, I like it!" Now Mia is happy, and she likes tea too.
Before: Yesterday, Mia liked coffee. That morning she wanted a coffee. Tom was different — Tom liked tea. But oh no — that day the café had no coffee! Then Tom smiled and said, "Do you want my tea?" Mia tried the tea. "Mmm, I like it!" Mia was happy, and she liked tea too.
A common mistake
Keep it simple and warm. When something makes you happy, just say it: I like coffee. I like music. When it doesn't, say it soft: I don't like the rain. Say these little phrases out loud again and again until they flow — no thinking, just feeling.
Say it out loud
- Say it: "I like…" and finish with one real thing you love.
- Say: "I want…" and name what you want right now.
- Offer a friend something: "Do you want a coffee?"
